Payment
Please contact our reception for any enquiries regarding our fee schedule. We would be more than happy to assist you with this.
Medicare rebate
As per Medicare requirements, in order to claim a Medicare rebate, a valid referral must be provided. We are unable to lodge a Medicare claim if a valid referral is not on file. Generally, a referral obtained from your General Practioner is valid for a 12 month period unless specified otherwise. Referrals that are obtained from another specialist are only ever valid for a 3 month period. If you are a current practice patient and are not sure if your referral is still valid, phone our reception and one of our staff members will be able to assist you.
Your account can be settled on the day using cash, EFTPOS or credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. For your convenience, we are able to lodge your Medicare claims electronically on the day, and if your bank details are registered with Medicare, you will receive your refund within 24 hours.
No out-of-pocket fees for hospital admission
Our cardiologists service both the public and private hospital sectors across South Western Sydney. Should you wish to use your private health insurance, our doctors participate in “No-Gap” cover schemes with private health insurance companies, so that no extra out-of-pocket fees will be charged.
